Viber® flexible DRIVES are a combination of a braided steel core that runs inside a casing made of spiral spring steel wrapped in durable, oil and dirt resistant, neoprene rubber. The core is driven by the MOTOR which in turn drives the HEAD. All Viber FLEXIBLE DRIVES fit ALL Viber MOTORS & HEADS. Viber casings also have the same fitting on both ends, so they are reversible. DRIVES are greased and assembled at the factory for your immediate use. DRIVES should be regreased in the field every 50 hours of operation or if the core rattles excessively in the casing -see ACCESSORIES for replacement grease.

DRIVE lengths should be selected based on how deep the head needs to be extended to reach the bottom of the form work. When using the VME-3000, 3 + Hp or VMG-2500BP, 2.5 Hp MOTORS you can use a VCP17 COUPLER to extend the DRIVES to 35’. Example: use a 21’ DRIVE and 14’ DRIVE coupled together to get to 35’. Add the COUPLER to the cart if you want to get to a 35’ DRIVE length.

Note: Casings come in two styles, 1” & 7/8”. The most common is the 1” and is recommended for use with all HEADS except the 7/8” pencil HEAD. If you select the 7/8” pencil HEAD to complete your vibrator assembly, you will automatically receive the 7/8” casing with your order.
